Rest

I read somewhere that the sense of smell is one of the most important ones we have (and apparently we have more than five)
I agree...

Yesterday For a While:

Yesterday for a while
Your head rested on my chest
For a while, my nose
Got buried in your hair
And I travelled within a breath
To continents anew
Where flowers caress
The sun as it sets
Where the moon bathes
In the morning dew
Where spring and summer
Hold both my hands
As I cross fields
Of calm and repose

There for a minute
I also smelled you
I breathed you in...
And i was back in my room
Smiling, humming
A slow and warm tune...

Then I put my dry lips
On your silky damp mane
And woke you with a ruffle
To send you home again

Yesterday for a while
Your head rested my chest...
